When your life is perfectly good on the outside, but you constantly feel miserable, what do you do?

When all you can think is: “why am I like this, will life ever get better” - how do you get out of this emotional funk?

Part of my problem? Basing my happiness on outside factors: success at my job, making money, my relationship, adventurous vacations, fun weekends. I was happy when I had these things.
